marketing director:

We do commercial activities: we rent out corners at the market. We used to have spaces at Central, but we sold that market last year. In 2019, we did two big projects with the Lighthouse House Foundation, the markets. The first story was the Marketplace Philanthropy Day event on June 1, 2019. The foundation invited many celebrities to be vendors for the day: selling tomatoes, cheese, and soup. In addition, there was entertainment, a concert, and a charity market at the market.
The second event, Charity Night, was done at the market on August 15, 2019. Stars cooked food together with the cooks of the market’s corners and sold it, musicians performed, and there was a charity raffle. The turnout on those days was 30 to 40 percent higher, and some of the guests were purposefully going to the event.
We didn’t have a clause in our lease agreement which said that corners should take part in charity projects. But among our tenants 70-80% took part in the event “House with a lighthouse.

founder of a chain of cycling studios:

Our studio specializes in group 45-minute workouts on bicycles to rousing music. We have been in existence for four years and have been doing charity activities for more than two of them. Our team organized workouts for children from orphanages, Let’s Move For a Better World Challenges. With the Love Syndrome and Sport for Good foundations last year we did an even bigger story CYCLING VO BLAGO: for one day the studio was completely closed and we held seven or eight charity competitions for corporate teams. Space was booked through the Love Syndrome Foundation website. It was essential for us that registration and entry fees go through the foundation, while we were the technical partner and didn’t let a ruble go through ourselves.
